My Apple iMac 24″ is burning my eyes…

I love my Apple iMac 24″. I really do, but let’s face it… the 20″ was good enough for me, too bad i had to return it… the LCD panel was just trash… and in trash i mean the worst monitor i’ve seen in an Apple product (not counting the old Peforma monitors)…

The real value of things…
You have to look forward!
Steven Levy writes for the Wire about the 25 years of the Macintosh… the article starts with a great paragraph about Steve Jobs on nostalgia…
“It’s the 25th anniversary of the Apple Macintosh, but Steve Jobs’ eyes are dry. At the company headquarters in Silicon Valley, where he was presenting a set of new laptops to the press last October, I mentioned the birthday to him. Jobs recoiled at any suggestion of nostalgia. “I don’t think about that,” he said. “When I got back here in 1997, I was looking for more room, and I found an archive of old Macs and other stuff. I said, ‘Get it away!’ and I shipped all that shit off to Stanford. If you look backward in this business, you’ll be crushed. You have to look forward.”"

Christmas Lego from 1978
This year i didn’t get any Lego… the money went elsewhere (Drobo)… but i can’t help to remember that some of my best Christmas days where related to Lego. The happiness of waking up with my brother and go straight to the Christmas tree looking for the Lego sets Santa had just delivered : )
I thank my parents today for all the Lego they gave me, it really influenced the way i approach problem solving today…
I couldn’t resist posting a picture of one of my favorite sets, still a family story… my Lego Shell tanker (Lego Town 671 / 1978)…
